The Soundcast iCast Transmitter with iPod dock is a handy way of wirelessly transmitting audio from your iPod, portable MP3 player or PC/laptop, to your Soundcast speakers or receivers (sold separately).

Perfect for use with the Soundcast Outcast or Outcast Junior outdoor speakers, or the iCast Receiver, the iCast can transmit audio to up to 350 feet, through wall, ceilings or floors.

When an iPod is connected, the dock will charge it, wirelessly transmit its audio and allow you to listen via headphones via the 3.5mm stereo minijack connection. Remove the iPod and the minijack becomes a stereo input, allowing you to connect computers, MP3/CD players and any other device, and wireless send its audio output to your Soundcast speaker or receiver.

Perfect for multi-room and easy wire-free connections, the iCast Transmitter is a great way to set your music free.
